The rooms were spacious with a lot of room for luggage especially if you are travelling with family. The staff was very helpful, especially Mr Isam. My kids lost the key to their room and the staff was prompt to provide us with a new one instantaneously. The food was good. But the crockery needs needs be replaced as some plates and saucers were chipped. I also wish the management would go old school and consider installing muslim showers in the toilets instead of the bidets. The air conditioner should also be serviced as if felt hot during the night.If you don't care much for such nitty gritty , then you would surely enjoy the breathtaking view the hotel has to offer.

We come to this hotel to use beach only as external guests so I can't rate rooms. Price is 20 jd for adult and 10 jd for children over 3 yo, under 3 yo is free. In this price you get towel, a lunch in the hotel restaurant where is open buffet. Lunch was fine, different meals available. You can really eat up. Beach on the dead sea has shower, mud available for free. Cold beverages available for extra price, same in the restaurant during the lunch. Beach is quite clean, loungers and umbrellas available. Tons of flies everywhere, but this isn't hotel fault. With the ticket you get access also to 3 swimming pools. Fair offer. We were there all family and spent Friday very well in this place.

Please do yourself a favor and do not book here. The hotel fails in the cleanliness department. Walking to my room the whole hallway smells like urine. Please it’s not worth it. I didn’t personally book this hotel, the hotel was told to me after I paid for my trip. I wouldn’t book a room like this in the states :update they switched my room and it was a little better. All of the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful

I’m shocked this place received so many bad reviews! The grounds were beautiful, the room spotless and equipped, and all of the staff was so kind and accommodating. The hotel manager remembered us and was so sweet to make sure our stay was perfect. As two young women traveling alone, we were concerned about unwanted male attention around the private beach and swimming pool (as we had bad experiences in different places).. however we felt completely safe here! In fact, we were told by the staff that they would take care of any issues if we felt uncomfortable (and we never did!). This was definitely worth spending a little extra money over non resort places we stayed the nights before. Great experience!

After getting rejected entry into Crown Plaza, my friends and I contacted Grand East if we would be able to come to swim in the Dead Sea and how much it would cost. They let us in and $20 to swim and eat a meal is an amazing deal! The only thing I will say is that our taxi driver asked to sit in the lobby and wait for us and they told us he would have to pay the entry fee also just to sit there, so he waited in the taxi instead. But other than that, great experience!
