We stayed one night recently at the hotel. The hotel is modern and the rooms are in exceptional condition. However, the service we received was fairly unsatisfactory. First of all when we arrived, we weren't offered any assistance with removing our luggage from the taxi and taken to our room and had to prompt the receptionist for this to occur. At check-in, we asked for a copy of the invoice and were told one would be printed out and handed over at checkout. On check-out day unfortunately, this didn't occur and we were informed, it would be emailed to us (4 days have passed so far and no email has been received). We also never received any assistance with our luggage on check-out day and had to move 8 pieces of luggage ourselves from our room to the taxi. Finally, we asked for milk to go with the tea in our room and after calling reception numerous times (only to hear, the receptionist picking up the phone and putting it back down again without answering it) after not hearing back we raised the matter with housekeeping and were told milk would only be available from the restaurant after next days breakfast.This is very unsatisfactory and not very helpful if you want tea / coffee on the day of arrival.
The hotel certainly has the opportunity to become a much higher star rating, but the service needs much improvement.
Hopefully our comments will be taken on board and the hotel will prosper moving forward.
