Al Madinah Harmony Hotel

A lady was given a key card to our room and had just walked in with me and my mom alone in there. Staff at the front desk should've known they had already given us that room. They should've been way more aware and they should've checked if we were still in the room. This hotel they claim it to be a "5 star hotel" but in reality it is not. Service is really bad when they come in to clean our rooms, they only clean the beds and the bathroom , nothing else just that. Moreover, I don't feel safe in this hotel, what if a male wouldve walked in that that would've been way worse and it is an invasion of our privacy. Also, the wifi is really bad here, theres barely any signal to the wifi in the hotel rooms. They speak so good of this hotel but it's actually not. I DO NOT recommend this hotel. It's very very bad. NEVER EVER COME HERE.

Location is near the mosque, but everything else is not worth 5 star hotel. Rooms are outdated. No warm water in the rooms. Very chaotic restaurant with limit room for everyone. Would not recommend this hotel, especially not if you find hygiene important. We came with a travel agency and did not have the option to select the hotel.

Recently Went For ^Umrah In October and Further Went On To The City Of Al Madinah. This Hotel Was Booked By A Pakistani Group From Manchester,UK (Oldham). We Were Given Room 228 In This Hotel. 1. This Hotel Is Not A Five Star Hotel As They Have Falsely Advertised. -There Is No Room Service In This Hotel. There Is A Phone In The Room But It's For Decoration. 2. It Is Located In The Indo Pak Bangladeshi Area. Away From All The Other Hotels. 3. Its Location Is Not Anywhere Near The Prophets Mosque 4. The Walk To The Mosque Is A Good 30 Minute Walk. 5. The Reception Staff Are Not English Literate. So Please Learn Basic Arabic If You Wish To Converse Wit Them 6. The Lifts Are Very Tight And Small 5. The Whole Interior Of This Hotel Is Very Very Back Dated and They Have No Concept Of Maintenance Of Building Works In This Hotel. 6. It Is Located Off The Big Main Road. So Traffic Related Noise Shall Be Your Room Service. 7. The Carpet Rooms Are Not Clean 8. The Mattresses On The Beds Are Old Worn Out and May Affect Your Physical Health. I Had To Swap The Mattress From The Third Bed That Was In The Room 9. There Is No House Keeping In This Hotel. The Occasional Staff Member Comes Once In A Blue Moon To So Called Clean Your Room. 10. If You Want To Make A Satisfactory Wudu (Cleaning Oneself) Then This Is Not The Hotel To Be In. The Bath Tub Was Broken. The Faucet Tap Was Broken . 11. The Fridge In The Room Was Broken. 12. The Window In The Room Was Broken So Outside Vehicles Could Heard And Coaches That Dropped Off New Tourists To The Hotel. Security Staff Would Sit Outside And Converse And Laugh In The Middle Of The Night Outside. 13. Other Guests Banged There Hotel Doors In The Corridor When Leaving Or Entering There Rooms 14. There Was a CCTV Camera Directly Outside My Hotel Room Which Invaded Our Privacy 15.They Started Doing Maintenance Works In The Room Near Our Room On The Same Floor. Ripping Out The Bathtub Etc. 16. The Managers At This Hotel Are Not Helpful and You Need Basic Arabic To Converse With Them. 17. The Breakfast In The Morning Was The Only Satisfactory Element Of This Hotel. In Other Words If You Want To Have The Experience Of The Pure Essence and Serenity Of Al Madinah And Experience Worship and Taqwa In A Five Star Hotel. This Is Not The Hotel You Want To Book. I Passed Comment To My Sister Via Whatsapp That The Five Star Hotel Was Better In Makkah and The Manager Cancelled By Breakfast For The Remainder Of My Stay and I Had To Go To His Office To Have It Reinstated. Overall Our Experience At This Hotel Was Not Good Especially Since We Travelled For A Spiritual Worship Experience and Read Prayers For Extra Reward And Acceptance Of Prayer. Sadly These Are Muslim Owned Hotels But They Lack The True Sincerity In Providing Satisfactory Services To Even There Fellow Muslims. I Wish To Emphasis This Is A One Star Hotel and Is Not A Five Star Hotel As Incorrectly Listed.

Excellent hotel MashaAllah 1. Got a free parking inside markazia hotel after very long 2. Checkin was quick 3. Guard at parking was cooperative 4. Lifts were very clean, fast and readily available 5. Room was fair spacious 6. Bathroom were very clean with new high quality fittings and sanitary 7. Neat towels were present 8. Room service was quick 9. Location is near to Haram (women gates) 10. Value for money Rate overall 8.5/10

The water in the bathroom does not drain properly. only one towel per person. Liquid soap does not cost much, but it is not available. There is also no iron in the room. I think 2 or 3 stars fit here. If all this is done, then 5 stars was well deserved. But I'll put 4 so as not to offend
