وصف

يقع مركز الملك عبد العزيز التاريخي في عاصمة المملكة العربية السعودية ، الرياض ، وقد تم بناؤه على المجمع السابق لقصر المربع ، ويبعد حوالي 1.5 كيلومتر شمال المدينة القديمة. في عام 1999 ، تم بناء العديد من المؤسسات الثقافية التي تركز على التاريخ السعودي على مجمع القصر القديم وتم إعادة تشكيل بقايا القصور القديمة وترميمها لجعلها تبدو أقرب ما يمكن من المبنى الأصلي.

المتحف

المتحف الوطني للمملكة العربية السعودية هو جوهرة المركز التاريخي. تشتهر بهندستها المعمارية الرائعة وثماني "قاعات عرض" كل منها تدور حول جزء مختلف من تاريخ المنطقة ، مثل التراث السعودي ، والثقافة الإسلامية في شبه الجزيرة العربية ، والممالك العربية ، والرسالة النبوية ، والإسلام في شبه الجزيرة العربية .

يمكنك أن تشق طريقك عبر رواق المتحف على طول المسار ذي النقاط الصفراء وأنت تستكشف المعروضات من خلال عروضها المضاءة جيدًا والمفيدة والتفاعلية.

عوامل الجذب

يضم مركز الملك عبد العزيز التاريخي فناء منزل قديم ومسجد ومكتبة ومبنى مؤتمرات والعديد من الحدائق ذات الحقول الخضراء الطويلة ودشات المياه. إلى الجنوب توجد حديقة ترفيهية صغيرة تجذب السكان المحليين والسياح على حد سواء. هناك أيضًا مجموعة من المنازل التقليدية في المركز التي تم التخطيط لها في الأصل كجزء من المتحف ولكنها تستخدم الآن كمراكز استقبال تستضيف الأحداث والاحتفالات الكبرى.

I loved to visit this museum although it was my second time. The way they presented and depicted Islamic as well as saudi ?? history is amazing. Very good place for your kids as well. They don't let you take any foodstuff inside so be careful. It may take more than 2hours if you explore each part of it. It does contain many small cinemas ? type place if u want to sit and learn about specific thing. It does also have praying area so don't worry about your prayers.

A place to have peace and calmness. This is the place of nature lovers, photographers, and for people who want to relax themselves. Amazing place. Love the surroundings. This place is specially for nature lover. Highly appreciated Saudi Arabia government for maintaining the ancient beauty with creative architecture. Highly recommended place. This place can be visited along with family, friends or alone. Do visit. It is located in Riyadh near batha.!!! Thanks & Regards, Yours, Wanderlust.

It is amazing with lots of plantation and greenery as well a museum beside it. But to our disappointment, there was not any play area with swings, slides etc. It has a waterfall and lots of green lawns. There is a fountain as well.

Really nice National Museum. It was free which is great so you can take the whole family. The exhibits were in Arabic and English which is great. First floor was historical things such as geology and ancient Arabian cultures. It also had an exhibit on the development of Riyadh as the nation's capital. Second floor was Islamic history. It had the history of the Prophet Muhammad which was done nicely. There was also lit miniatures of Medina and Mecca. There was a history on the art of Arabic calligraphy which was interesting. There's a beautiful park behind the museum but it was closed but it is worth going to if you are in the area. A great activity do do if you visit Riyadh whether you are a citizen or foreign visitor.

For you to enjoy exploring the whole displays and/or exhibits in the museum, you need to have enough time to be able to appreciate each item or part of the museum. It is overwhelming because there is so much to see. For example you will be able to see some land forms in country. You can witness that Saudi Arabia is not just a dessert. You will also be able to have a good rewind of how people lived in the past in this side of the world. During our visit there was no entrance fee.
