يجب على الأشخاص الذين يزورون العلا التفكير في التخطيط لرحلة إلى صخرة القوس (قوس قزح). هذه الصخرة هي واحدة من أكثر التكوينات الصخرية الطبيعية شهرة في المنطقة وأصبحت أيضًا وجهة شهيرة للسياحة الفلكية.

المناظر الطبيعية والأنشطة

يطلق عليه قوس قزح روك لأنه يشبه قوس أو قوس قزح مع اثنين من الغيوم. بالقرب من صخرة قوس قزح توجد تشكيلات صخرية أخرى يمكن للسائحين زيارتها مثل Dancing Rocks وهما عمودان صخريان كبيران يبدو أنهما يرقصان معًا.

تتميز منطقة العلا بأكملها بتلوث ضوئي منخفض ، مما يجعل راينبو روك مكانًا مثاليًا للتخييم والنجوم. يمكن للزوار أيضًا البحث عن ماسات الصحراء شبه الكريمة التي غالبًا ما توجد في الموقع. قطع الكوارتز الملونة هذه مدمجة في الصخر وتنتشر في كل مكان حولها. إنه أيضًا مكان رائع للزيارة للأشخاص الذين يحبون تصوير المناظر الطبيعية.

موقع

قوس قزح أو القوس هو قوس من الحجر الرملي على بعد 90 دقيقة من مدينة العلا. الطريق المؤدي إلى الموقع في الصحراء غير مرصوف جيدًا ويوصى باستخدام سيارة دفع رباعي للوصول إلى هناك. كما أن الركوب الوعر يجعلها أكثر ملاءمة للسياح الذين يزورون في مجموعات بدلاً من العائلات. الموقع معزول ولا توجد به مرافق ؛ ومن ثم يجب التخطيط لرحلة قصيرة ليوم واحد.

An amazing natural arch formed in the sandstone in Al Ula. While the arc itself would be more challenging to climb, another rock behind it is the perfect place to take photos from. It requires a 4 wheel drive to get to. I recommend a local driver who knows the way.

Absolutely a must. The Rick is spectacular, and though getting to it from the main road will require a 4wd (or at least a car with higher ground clearance) you're rewarded with a spectacular site. To get there, turn off the road before the big telecom pole and follow the rugged road. If you make it to the camel racing site you've gone too far (trust me, learned the hard way). We went in July so it was mad hot, but there is shade behind the rock (depending on the time of day), and if you're lucky like us you meet friendly locals who are great hosts. We also went at night and, despite the full moon (or maybe because of it) it was a very different place. Definitely drive the 45 mins outside of Al Ula. Worth every mile.

This natural rock arc is amazing! You should visit this place when you are in Al Ula. Not yet famous but soon it will be known and popular place as an alternative to the elephant rock which now need to be booked and paid. Among this rainbow rock is the fish rock and the big little brother rock as i may say. These rocks in unique formation are situated in the same radius close to each other around 500 square meters apart.
