العلا - المدينة القديمة ، والمعروفة أيضًا باسم ديرة ، هي موقع أثري بالقرب من العلا في منطقة المدينة المنورة . وهي من مناطق الجذب الرئيسية في العلا حيث تتكون من العديد من المباني التراثية القديمة والمساجد والأسواق. تعود كل هذه الآثار إلى حوالي سبعة قرون ، وفقًا للمؤرخين ، وكانت المدينة مأهولة حتى أوائل الثمانينيات.

المدينة القديمة ومعالمها

تزود زيارة البلدة القديمة الباحثين والمؤرخين بتاريخ غني عن المستوطنين والحجاج في المدينة وكيف قاموا ببناء المدينة. كانت المباني في الداخل مبنية من قبل بالحجارة الأصلية والطوب اللبن. هناك حوالي 900 منزل تم بناؤها بشكل وثيق ولا تفصلها سوى أزقة ضيقة.

هناك أيضًا قلعة تسمى قلعة العلا التي يمكن تتبعها إلى القرن العاشر. يوفر الجزء العلوي من القلعة إطلالة بانورامية على العلا وفرصة لالتقاط صور مذهلة. يمكن للسياح أيضًا التجول في إحدى الساحات الرئيسية في المدينة ، ساحة Tantora ، والتي تم بناؤها حول المزولة الشمسية Tantora.

تم إنشاء جناح للحرف اليدوية مؤخرًا في المدينة يقدم نظرة ثاقبة على الحرف والفنون التي مارسها السكان على مدى أجيال. هناك أيضًا متاجر تقليدية أخرى بها تحف وأثاث يصور ثقافة المدينة وتاريخها. الناس هنا ودودون للغاية ومرحبون ، ويمكن للزوار تناول الطعام في المطاعم المحلية التي تقدم تناول الطعام في الداخل والخارج.

This place is very attractive😍 for recreation🏕۔ Going here, it seems as if one has come to an ancient village. After seeing the view here I am sure you will never want to leave here. But I would like to say one more thing that I have taken the pictures here at night due to my busy schedule.

Great location in Alula Actually it is the best place with a lot of activities can be done It has a lot of cafes like Tim Hortons, Dankin, Starbucks and a lot of local brands which all are amazing with wonderful traditional decoration and services It has also a lot of amazing restaurants with international and local brands and all are great In addition to a lot of shops for gifts and clothes etc They do a lot of great activities and shows I visit it almost every day

One of the spots you need to visit in Alula -- The Old Town... It's really amazing the way they have maintained or built the old structure attracting tourist.. Parking is a issue but the volunteers are there controlling the traffic and guiding you to parking space.... Really a good place to visit with family... Avoid visiting at afternoon as there is shade...

Amazing area for people who like history. Has restaurants and AMAZING views. They have many stuff such as; clothes, jewelry, and date boutiques. I loved looking at the different types of dates. When you enter, a car will take you to the town.Then, the same car will take you back to the parking lot. I prefer going on daytime because it’s not really crowded, even thought it’s a bit too sunny. So don’t forget your sunglasses!
