If you are looking for a vintage hotel with a “Not bad” view then crown town is the perfect pick. When i was there i has a few seconds power blackout but as i said it lasted for a few seconds only. Toilet is clean but old tiles and the sewer has no grill so if you open it to let the water goes down the hole then you need to be carful not to drop anything on the floor, i like that they have installed the electrical water heater. TV is an old one. Closet doors are squeaky vintage wallpaper. The room is quite which is really an important thing when it comes to having a good night sleep.
The prices are a little overpriced compared to vintage furniture.
It was an interesting stay and i might repeat it.

Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable!
Service was good, I was given early check in and breakfast was sufficient.
Location wise it is between the old town city centre and al hamra corniche, both are 30-40min walk or a quick taxi ride away.

The hotel is obviously short-staffed. You don't get housekeeping after 6pm. But the edifice is great. Location is fantastic, walking distance to Jeddah corniche.

Pros: Good clean room and beds. Toilet was clean and towels and toiletries were provided for. Great location easy access to most destination in Jeddah.
Cons: Bad staff. Took over an hour just to check in. The bellhops were rude and sarcastic when asked valid questions. Pool area is too small and bird poos at all over the pool side. Breakfast not for everybody. Had to go out.
