I recently dined at an Egyptian restaurant in Riyadh, and it was a delightful experience that transported me right to the heart of Cairo. The standout dishes for me were the mahshi and mulokiya, each bursting with authentic Egyptian flavors. The mahshi was perfectly seasoned, and its delicate balance of spices complemented the vegetables superbly. The mulokiya, a traditional Egyptian dish, was a revelation with its rich, velvety texture and deep, herbaceous flavor. Additionally, the freikha soup was a revelation. Its hearty and comforting taste, with perfectly cooked grains, made it an absolute delight. The stuffed hamam (pigeon) was another highlight, cooked to perfection, offering a succulent and flavorful experience that was both unique and memorable. The restaurant’s decor was impressive, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Egypt. Every detail, from the furnishings to the artwork, was thoughtfully curated to create an authentic Egyptian ambiance. The outside seating area, where we chose to dine, added to the charm of the evening. It was beautifully arranged and provided a comfortable and enjoyable dining atmosphere, perfect for the pleasant Riyadh evenings. However, there is always room for improvement. While the food was excellent, the service could be a bit more attentive. The wait times between courses were slightly longer than expected, which, while not a major issue, did affect the overall dining experience. In conclusion, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Riyadh craving authentic Egyptian cuisine. The combination of delightful dishes, beautiful decor, and a pleasant outdoor seating area makes it a great choice for both casual and special occasions. Despite the minor issue with service, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and look forward to returning soon.

The staff are very friendly and has a warm welcoming attitude & I really like how the guest relations manager Kareem for his kindness and the Waiter Ahmed Ramadan. I’ll definitely come back again as the food is very tasty & delicious. Well presented, each flavour made with laugh & smile. ✨??? Don’t forget to order Mombar it’s so yummmy?

Overall, it was a good restaurant, but I wouldn't describe it as excellent. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance with comfortable seating arrangements and a relaxed atmosphere. However the staff members were not so attentive, and didn't provide prompt service throughout the meal. The menu offered a decent variety of Egyptian dishes, and the food itself was enjoyable. The flavors were generally good, and the presentation was appealing. However, I didn't find any standout or exceptional dishes that truly impressed me. While the food was satisfying, it didn't have that wow factor or unique touch that sets a restaurant apart. While the food was good, it didn't leave a lasting impression or make me eager to return for more. In conclusion, this restaurant provided a decent dining experience. The ambiance is commendable , and the food was enjoyable. However, it lacked that extra something to make it truly excellent and the service was mediocre .

Amazing vibes, excellent service and the prices are very affordable, Egyptian food is very tasty, stuffed vegetables as appetisers . We are a family of 4 and ordered until we are full with drinks and desserts and coffee.. all that for 320 riyal. Upper seating area is very spacious and they play oroginal music like um kalthoum . Highly recommended..thanks to khaled was very helpful and kind

One of the greatest experience i have ever had in riyadh . The food taste great and more of the old version of the actual authentic Egyptian food . Khaled was our waiter for today he was so helpful and had a smile on his face all the time , khaled also helped us choose the best plates out there in the menue . The liver pan is simpley?????. Don’t you dare forget the tea ?
