We stayed here for a total of five nights starting New Years day 2023. We had an overall OK experience here, but for the price they are severely lacking some quality control and servicing issues.
Here are some things that are good about this hotel:
1. Location: it is located away from the crazy traffic off the vicinity of Al Haram but still near all the places of interest.
2. Definitely a new building with a , Good layout& architecture and an excellent breakfast. The manager who is in charge of running the breakfast deserves a lot of praise for running a tight ship.
Here are some of the things that are definitely needed for improvement:
1. The front desk is very slow to response. We had to call around four times and finally had to go downstairs and had to speak in to someone in person to get any service for our room. It took around two hours for something that should have been taken care off within 15 minutes.
2. The moment we entered our room, it had a very bad odor coming from the toilet and the sink. For a fairly new building we were all very surprised that the plumbing was done so poorly.
3. We ordered a chicken sandwich from the room service on our last day of our trip and received a sandwich that had went bad already. I wouldn’t be surprised if people got food poisoning. Quality control needed.
4. This hotel is lacking quality control which lead to some instances of bad customer service, and unhygienic food. Future customers would probably have better service and experience if these things were addressed and implemented.
