Emaar Grand Hotel Makkah (Formerly Dar Al Eiman Grand Hotel)

We stayed as a family of 8 in August for days in two quadruple rooms. We had a great time. 15-minutes walk from Haram with plenty of restaurants en route.The rooms were clean and room service was reliable. Breakfast was very nice and staff friendly. I would stay here again for Umrah.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel, and I must say that I am deeply disappointed with both the quality of the room and the level of service I received. From the moment I checked in, it was evident that the staff lacked a sense of responsibility and professionalism. The bathroom was in no better condition, What truly irked me, however, was the abysmal customer service. The staff exhibited a complete lack of empathy and willingness to address my concerns. My attempts to communicate the issues I was facing were met with indifference and dismissive responses. It was as if they couldn't be bothered to attend to their guests' needs. As a paying customer, I expected a certain level of comfort and courtesy, both of which were sorely lacking during my stay. It's clear that this establishment needs to seriously reevaluate its standards and invest in proper training for its staff. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay at this hotel to think twice. The combination of a poorly maintained room and an uncaring attitude from the staff makes for an unpleasant and regrettable experience. I, for one, will not be returning and will be actively discouraging friends and family from choosing this hotel in the futures.

Location wise. Thae Hotel is good But services specially restaurant is the worst I ever had in my life. Food is always bland no taste. Careless staff. Rooms are old no repair work have been done for a long time . And so many other problems.

1. The room is nice and the A/C is excellent. I booked this hotel one month ago. However, when I entered my hotel room, the plumber was working in the washroom. 2. The entire washroom had a pool of water while we were trying to shower as water is flowing from the shower area to the washroom that is really disgusting. 3. A good number of shower tiles fell off that was very odd looking that makes it very uncomfortable to use, and the shower door hinge is broken, which is a safety concern. 4. I talked verbally to the reception about this and nobody responded. Then I informed the next day in written format, No one cared about to hear and resolve our problem. The worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life.

Best value for money as for it's location which is nearly 10 minutes walk from Haram. Mostly visited by Arab countries and the breakfast and food is suitable for arabs. Excellent room size and feel like 5 star hotel.
