Emaar Grand Hotel Makkah (Formerly Dar Al Eiman Grand Hotel)

The hotel is close to the grand mosque, it took me 10 minutes by walking. I stayed in Tower A and everything was good in the room and in the hotel in general. There are many elements that require further improvement such as utilities and cleaning, but overall was good.

Really good value for money. Overall had no faults staying here. Room was clean, service was great, location was about 10 minutes from masjid Haram m, however if you leave in the last half an hour before adhaan it will take a bit longer as you’ll be expect a lot of rush. Highly recommend.

Great hotel with lovely reception. Also we got a very nice room on the 8th floor. However staff wasn't very helpful and kept making false promises. I changed by booking from 7 to 5 nights however when I went to check in their system didn't reflect that. Therefore they charged me for 7 nights and said come back for refund tomorrow. When I went back they won't give me refund and said when you check out after 5 days we'll give refund. This was giving me unnecessary stress as I had two nights booked in another hotel after this booking. So now I've paid for extra two nights and there was a possibility they wouldn't give my refund. Plus it's not nice waiting for your refund until you check out. Therefore I had to request for a refund with the other hotel and stayed the extra two nights. Plus staff don't even smile and aren't friendly. It's such a shame as it's a nice hotel. Housekeeping staff are amazing.

Brilliant service. Workers were lovely people. Lovely personality. Friendly security staff. This hotel was localed near alot of shops. Had a local pharmacy which was ideal. Amazing place. Beautiful hotel 😍

Lovely hotel, service was great. Rooms could do with some improvements but were clean and comfortable. Hotel restaurant was huge and for breakfast had a huge buffet range for around £7. Lunch and dinner were disappointing as it was expensive, £10 and the range of food was much lower. Nonetheless, there were countless options outside. Service was generally great, any issues, staff would be on it to resolve. Just on the leaving day one of the staff who I'd never seen in my whole visit was begging aggressively for more tips after I had already tipped him generously for taking our luggage down.
