Absolutely amazing hotel, and highly recommended staying there.
why only 4 stars
- the main pool is broken since october last year with no indication of when it will be fixed. and the pool clearly is a feature that one would like to use. and no notice about that online. they let you use the pool of another hotel, but still. we didn’t mind that much, since we had our own pool villa, but still
- 60USD for a burger… i mean burger was good, but was it that good? and i think it was one of the cheapest items in the menu
- for the price of the hotel, i would expect to have dinner included as well.
but overall, amazing location, amazing rooms, very highly recommended.

The prices are gone completely crazy. Eventually they will realize too late when people will not be able to afford their resort. Their r no services on site for visitors. No cycles to hire or any kind of activities. I have stayed with them 3 times in 2years. The villas are nice because of the location.

Banyan Tree is one of the best resorts my wife and I ever stayed at! It’s just very serene, clean and luxurious! To top it off, it was my wife’s birthday and I called for them to have something special for her in the room for when we arrive and they went over and beyond with cake, flowers, rose petals on the floor and bed and a lot more! Banyan Tree Al Ula is just amazing! Highly recommended A++++++++++

The Restourant and staff is nice, But dine is is very expensive for an average person, the only reason I booked this Restourant to see Maraya and honestly this building didnt surprise me at all and found nothing special. I have dined in many hotels in Australia and other countries but never paid this much money for a breakfast( Two omelates and two juices: 287 SAR)
the staff was very attentive and service is really good, only if you can afford this luxury in the desert!
also A sheikh( probably not related to Restourant) in the parking wanted a fight for no reason while I was putting my kid in the back seat and he horned me and said something in Arabic very rudly which I couldnt understand. this made my visit also a terrible experience.

Wow! What a setting. The most luxurious rooms and you have to pinch yourself when looking at the view from the bedrooms. Best to ask for a room with a view of the surrounding mountains. The pool was closed during our stay which was a disappointment. There are two sides to the resort which makes access to your car somewhat complicated. Best to hold on to your own car keys and be in control, as 5 minutes can mean 30 minutes or longer !
Horse riding was incredible, but If you're an experienced rider, make sure they know in advance as they will have you on a lead-reign and won't understand that you want to be in control yourself.
Food was great.
Highlight was Hegra. Go for the vintage land rover tour.
