I was looking forward for this trip during Eid holiday with my family, unfortunately, one of my worst experiences during any hotel stay.
My booking was confirmed and paid, but had several issues while 4 hours check in process. Although, it’s a season and we might understand it’s sold out during our visit, however, no gust should have faced the following:
1- The reception informed me that my reservation is not available @3:30pm upon my arrival
2- After a while we found the reservation but not paid (although I paid it) then corrected
3- After three hours of waiting for the house keeping to get our rooms ready, no one offered any compensation
4- And when we asked for any compensation , the manager offered late check out only !!!!!
5- Even when we mentioned that we understand no upgrade is possible due to sold out , at least any other offers, the managers replied “ I’m the manager and I decide what compensation to offered” with an attitude.
The only reason we stayed, due to beach activities for the family (that’s why one star)
I would like to thank the reception staff (not their manager) for their friendly and polite handling, although no authorities.
They need more house keeping and better management
