We stayed two nights at the Conrad a few weeks ago and overall it was an okay stay. I had a wonderful experience at the breakfast buffet, all the workers at the breakfast buffet, and the housekeeping team. We loved our room, which was so clean and comfortable.
However, there were a couple negative issues that made the trip less than enjoyable. My issues are with the check-in process and also with communication. Before I arrived at the hotel, I was charged for one of two nights. When I got to the hotel, I expected to be charged only for the remaining night. However, the check-in agent charged me for the full booking. He assured me that I would get my refund from finance within 5 days for the first charge. It’s been over 3 weeks and I haven’t gotten my money back. I’ve sent 4 emails over the last few weeks, but no one has answered me. It is a large refund (almost $200) and it is extremely upsetting that they are ignoring me.
If these issues hadn’t happened, it would’ve been an amazing 5-star stay! Unfortunately, they kind of ruined the trip and this hotel for us.
