A Disappointing Experience with a Few Redeeming Qualities
Recently, I visited Mughal Restaurant and ordered their much-touted seafood platter. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Every item on the platter was drenched in butter, which might be their signature style, but it rendered the seafood dull and rubbery. Worse, everything was burnt. The grilled crab, in particular, was a complete disaster.
The biryani was the only highlight of the meal. It was decent, but the large chunks of meat were dry and lacked juiciness, making it less enjoyable than it could have been.
The service was just okay, and the bread served was average at best. Given the money spent and the appetite we brought, the overall experience was quite disappointing. I would not recommend trying the seafood platter. Save your money and your palate for a better dining option.

Disappointing food for the hefty price they charge you. Ordered two different type of biryani that tasted bland and looked similar(the chicken was stiff and not cooked well). Also the beef sizzle dish was an utter abomination. I have never tasted such a horrendous beef sizzling in my life. Please save your money and experience something different.

As the name says it's one of the best of Mughal restaurants in Khobar. Been there countless times.
Delicious food. But the cubicles are not properly lit.
The Ramadan buffet is also good.

I really liked this place initially. However, my experience yesterday was totally not worth at all. The peshawari chicken kadai was utter hopeless and recommend anyone not to try this at all. The price is exhorbitant and not worth the money.

The restaurant is very good, it’s a bit dark during the night,
Food is very good but a bit expensive.
Bihari kababs were good, while seekh kababs need improvement as it seems to had lamb fat in it.
Rest of the food was very good
The roghni naan which we ordered was more like taftaan never the less it was very good
Food 7.5/10
Value of money 6/10
