Il postino is a famous Italian pizza shop that claims to serve authentic Neapolitan pizza using authentic ingredients and processes.
The menu is small with only a handful of pizza types , a couple of salads as sides and that’s about it. This actually adds tremendous pressure on the restaurant to deliver and the slightest mistake would be magnified. For that, I felt the pizza did not come out as good as it should have. There were issues with over-saucing, too many dark spots on the crust and the underside, mediocre raw ingredients, and finally, the dough itself is a bit chewy and not fully developed.
Service was a bit weird. I’ve noticed many reviews mentioning comments on the service quality and I have to agree. They lacked enthusiasm and were dull. However , they are simply young kids without proper training, so they can’t be blamed. But management needs to provide better training.
The positive news is the prices, they managed to undercut similar authentic Italian pizzerias by at least 20-30%. So , if price is a factor, this place would make you happy.

Honestly the best authentic Italian pizza in town.
Never failed to impress.
The service was good and staff were quick and friendly.
The food is to die for. Every bite is just perfection.
The tiramisu was so light and creamy

Overall a nice experience. I’d come back for the margarita and fries. The Salad was unpleasant- dressing didn’t taste like Caesar and lettuce was cut wrong plus not really the right lettuce. Romaine wd be better . The Pepperoni tasted like salami . It needs to be fixed .
Service was extremely fast and prompt. Prices very reasonable. This place has great ambiance and is a fun .

I have been to several Italian restaurants to compare their pizza menu, so here I found the special taste in “Funghi” pizza with white sauce and truffle oil.
It was extraordinary ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
very rich of flavor and enjoyable, but unfortunately they didn’t manage to keep the crusts from burning too much which forced me not to eat them.
The atmosphere was so lovely with the smell of wood oven it was so cozy,
but the space is tight which took us a while to find a table.
Otherwise, definitely would come again and again, if they could pay more attention to the burn issue.
