Positives: The rooms were very clean large and well equipped! There was initially a problem with a drain and the fridge but this was fixed promptly. The hotel's central location is perfect for exploring Riyadh in all directions. The staff is attentive and well trained. The breakfast is rich and delicious as is the room service. The prices for the food are cheap and the general price-performance ratio is great! We extended our stay several times because we felt very comfortable here! We can definitely recommend the hotel! Negatives: -you only get plastic cutlery with the room service -the windows could offer better soundproofing (You can hear the traffic but it was bearable) Conclusion: grand plaza - great place to stay! You liked this recession then leave a thumbs up there!

Staff are wonderful but location is a distance from attractions, restaurants and cafes. You will need to travel by taxi or car as it is in a kind of business district, breakfast is great with a lot of choice but would do well to have a slightly better choice of hot food. Swimming pool is not heated and neither is the hot tub. Petrol (Gas) station virtually next door with a supermarket for essentials if required and a KFC open until 3am is about 750m. All twin bed rooms have no view, just face another hotel and air con units. If view is important then opt for a double / king bed room. Hotel corridors are dark but hotel overall is very clean. Most staff speak good English and are very welcoming and hospitable.

A very nice hotel unless you need fast wifi or to be within walking distance of the city centre. The good: friendly & helpful staff and a superb rooftop pool. A dessert cafe in reception would count as one of the best in the city if only anyone knew it was here. The bad: wifi averages a disappointing 1MB/s, though the biggest problem was that in much of our room we had no wifi signal at all. I mentioned this to the front desk, but nothing happened to improve it over the following 48 hours. I’m also sad to say the buffet breakfast looks tasty but is really really bland… plus for cereal they only offer hot milk! Once the Riyadh metro opens the hotel will be well-connected, until then you’ll need to catch a taxi pretty much everywhere. If you found my review or photos helpful please leave a quick thumbs up ? Nice and spacious room with good washroom. Manager is very welcoming. Breakfast is very good with lots of variety. Good value for money.
