Braira AL Azizia Resort and Hotel

The resort is very beautiful in pictures, but when you go and check in, the problems starts to appear. The outside pool is not safe to swim it's full of Algae, and slippery, rooms are very basic and old fashioned , electricity outlets are not all are working door handels are loose, seat toilets are so dirty when you look in the hiddend spots, ACs in the hallways are turned off, food ordered to the room was tasteless and you can not continue your meals, and the prices are expensive, better to order food to the room, or simply don't check in to this resort. Many more issues spotted.

Nice resort & clean .Unfortunately the power in the resort was off for almost one and a half hour(no lights ,no A/C) .We had to go out of our Vella to find light. We didn’t get any compensation for that. Front desk is not helpful (always give false information). The place doesn’t deserve five stars at all.

Pool is nasty. The algae can be felt on your feet. This place is more expensive than the Hyaat Regency but dont fall for it. The so called private beach is no beach at all. More like a sandbar. They will charge you even for water which you can ask for at the reception for free. Breakfast had hair, the pool had hair, the rooms are filled with sand.

The place was very clean and tidy. It was visually appealing and the views were immaculate. The service was amazing and the staff were very nice and kind. 10/10 recommend.

I have stayed at this hotel once. Will I come again? To be honest, it's unlikely. Advantages: 1) This is one of the few hotels with a private beach. 2) The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. 3) The rooms have a microwave and stove. 4) There are very thick curtains in the rooms - with one movement you can turn day into night. 5) The territory of the hotel itself is very beautiful, there are many trees and shrubs. 6) The staff tries to be helpful. Cons: 1) Very, very high prices. For two nights I paid 2125 rials, which is more than twice as expensive as for a similar level hotel in Bahrain. But, as could be said, it would be something to pay for. And with this there are big doubts. 2) First of all, the beach, of course. For the first time in my life, I googled the tide schedule. Why? Because at low tide, 30 meters from the shore, near the buoys, the water was knee-deep. At high tide, the water was up to the neck. My height is 175 centimeters. Who is this beach for? For small children? 3) There are few places on the beach and by the pool. During my visit, most of them were free, but if the hotel is full, there will definitely not be enough places for all the guests. 4) There was an unpleasant smell in the toilet of the room - the smell came from the sewer. 5) The door to the shower did not close well. 6) Parking should be fenced off - cars are almost on the road. 7) Breakfast left an unpleasant impression. Very small selection of food. Meat was sausages and minced beef. But, I must say, this is a problem for many hotels after the start of the pandemic. Summing up, I would like to say that the reason for such problems is the lack of competition. Dammam and Khobar have a long sea coast, but a few hotels have a private beach. And for this reason, they allow themselves to set terribly high prices. Compared to Novotel in Bahrain, where a room costs 450 rials per night, the cost of a room in this hotel should be a maximum of 350 rials.
