サウジアラビアのアシル地域に位置するリハルアルマ村は、間違いなく中東で最も歴史的に重要で美しい村の1つです。魅力的な建築、豊かな歴史、快晴、美しい景観で有名なこの小さな村は、何世紀にもわたって地域の貿易の中心地として機能し、イエメンとラヴァントをマッカとマディーナに接続する自然の通路でした。
建築と景観
村は石、粘土、木を使って建てられた60階建ての古代の建物で構成され、丘の中腹には視野と射撃場を最大化するために戦略的に建てられたいくつかの防御的な監視塔があります。背の高い石造りの建物と同じくらい美しいのですが、本当の不思議は石と粘土の壁の後ろにあります。各家は、最も魅力的な色の組み合わせとアートワークで熟練した職人によって装飾され、描かれています。村は、かつてアラビア半島で最も重要な交易路の1つとして使用されていた曲がりくねった道を見下ろす急な丘に囲まれています。
アクティビティとアトラクション
村で最も高い要塞はアルジャベールとアルハワットの要塞ですが、他の重要な要塞には、マエジブとハキムの要塞、ムサムル、アルディリヤ、アルシスベなどがあり、それぞれに独自の歴史があります。元の家族によって文書化され、保存されています。
リハルアルマには、サウジアラビアの歴史で最も古い博物館もあります。この博物館は、村の古代の歴史と遺産を保存するために、1985年に石造りの建物の1つに地元の人々によって設立されました。博物館には、2800を超える地元の歴史の展示と、500kgを超える古代の地元の宝石が展示されています。
その他の近くのアトラクションには、タノマ滝、アルサハブパーク、アルスダビューポイントなどがあります。

The houses in the heritage village have interesting features, colours and decorations. Some are restored, at least the exteriors, others in a dilapidated state. There is a small museum, coffee shop and mini market on site. An application has been made for World Heritage Site status for the houses.

An okay-ish place, good for a getaway from your monotonous expatriate machine driven, far from the nature life.
The village has more aesthetic to it rather than heritage and history. It's good for pictures and passing time but nothing significant of the history belongs to this place.
There are 2 cafes, a mosque, no hotel, no restaurant. The views are poor after sunset and spending any time more than an hour would be unnecessary.
Coming all the way from a city to this place over a 100km would be a waste, but it'd be great if you plan paying a visit while on your way to some other place and just stopping at this place for a short break.

Rejal Historical Village... Nice place. There's coffee shop there, and museum. But we didn't had the chance to go inside the museum. I think it's only for the locals (not so sure, I'm sorry) but we tried the coffee shop , with the overlooking view. Very nice.

The place being reviewed is the museum not the village it self.
A very decent place entrance is 20sar per person for a contribution so the place get taken care and maintained.
The concept of the museum is catchy
But there is nothing worth it, some old antiques places in a non organized manner with minor descriptions and not well maintained.
The female jewelry was nice to see
The place is out although visited in winter time.
If you are limited in time the village is worth seeing
