サウジアラビアのアシル地域に位置するリハルアルマ村は、間違いなく中東で最も歴史的に重要で美しい村の1つです。魅力的な建築、豊かな歴史、快晴、美しい景観で有名なこの小さな村は、何世紀にもわたって地域の貿易の中心地として機能し、イエメンとラヴァントをマッカとマディーナに接続する自然の通路でした。
建築と景観
村は石、粘土、木を使って建てられた60階建ての古代の建物で構成され、丘の中腹には視野と射撃場を最大化するために戦略的に建てられたいくつかの防御的な監視塔があります。背の高い石造りの建物と同じくらい美しいのですが、本当の不思議は石と粘土の壁の後ろにあります。各家は、最も魅力的な色の組み合わせとアートワークで熟練した職人によって装飾され、描かれています。村は、かつてアラビア半島で最も重要な交易路の1つとして使用されていた曲がりくねった道を見下ろす急な丘に囲まれています。
アクティビティとアトラクション
村で最も高い要塞はアルジャベールとアルハワットの要塞ですが、他の重要な要塞には、マエジブとハキムの要塞、ムサムル、アルディリヤ、アルシスベなどがあり、それぞれに独自の歴史があります。元の家族によって文書化され、保存されています。
リハルアルマには、サウジアラビアの歴史で最も古い博物館もあります。この博物館は、村の古代の歴史と遺産を保存するために、1985年に石造りの建物の1つに地元の人々によって設立されました。博物館には、2800を超える地元の歴史の展示と、500kgを超える古代の地元の宝石が展示されています。
その他の近くのアトラクションには、タノマ滝、アルサハブパーク、アルスダビューポイントなどがあります。

The museum itself is not the attraction but it is the drive to the place which should not be missed in an Abha Tour.
The place ia surrounded by mountains on all sides. And the steep road to the bottom is quite an experience.

The village buildings were beautiful.
The drive there was tricky, long and winding road with sharp turns.
The museum was small but full of history. No English translation so google translate was handy.

Must visit.Ticket rates are 40 riyal perhead . For The road to there will take u to heaven. That scenic drive. I think the museum is better to see from outside than Inside. Can take some nice pictures from outside. Other than that inside there is nothing much . U can walk around the area a bit and then go and see the museum setup inside. It's just few rooms. Nothing much. THE WHOLE MUSEUM IS JUST SPECTACULAR TO WATCH FROM OUTSIDE. THE PHOTOS WILL LOOK AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL.There is no good toilets or anything there.

It didn't let me down. The construction is special with stone decoration. The was no crowd the day I visited, so I had a wonderful day there.
It was only half opened to the public and another half is still under renovation. There was a “شلال" sign but I didn't see any waterfall, probably it’s just a name?
Btw, the scenery along the road is very beautiful.

Magical and breathtaking. Seeing a 900 years old building in person is a beautiful experience. The locals are so helpful and guided us because we missed the road. You need a strong car and an expert driver.
