マスジド アル ジンは、サウジアラビアのメッカにあるジャンナート アル ムアラの近くにある小さなモスクです。イスラムの重要性から、衛兵のモスクおよび忠誠のモスク (マスジド アル バヤ) としても知られています。マスジドは、市内で最も古く、最も重要なモスクの 1 つと考えられています。
歴史的意義
マスジド アル ジンが立っている場所は、クルアーンのスーラ (チャプター) アル ジンで言及されています。それは、ジンの大規模なグループが集まり、預言者ムハンマドの平安あれ（PBUH）コーランの朗読に耳を傾けた場所に建てられました。その後、預言者がこの場所でこれらのジンと会ったとき、彼らはイスラム教を受け入れ、彼への忠誠を約束しました。
構造
もともとは 1700 年代に地下モスクとして建設されました。最近、モスクの構造にミナレットが追加され、建築がより角張ったモダンなものに変わりました。今日、モスクには、エアコン完備のインテリア、ウォーター (ウドゥ) ステーション、祈りのカーペット、扇風機など、すべての近代的な設備が備わっています。モスクはそれほど広くはありませんが、広い礼拝エリアがあります。この地域に住む人々は、ここに 1 日 5 回お参りに来ます。
位置
モスクは街のにぎやかな一角にあり、ホテルが周囲を取り囲み、すぐ後ろにジャンナート・アル・ムアラ墓地があります。また、近くには公衆トイレや売店もあります。
モスクは祈りのためにのみ開いています。イスラム教の重要性からモスクを訪れ、預言者 (PBUH) の記憶に敬意を払うために巡礼者を定期的にここに連れてくるバスがあります。

This is the place where Jinns listened Quran ftom Prophet SAW and according to other traditions embraced Islam. Prophet's SAW uncle narrates that He RA was with Prophet SAW when at night they arrived here and Prophet SAW drew a line/circle and told His uncle RA not to cross that line. Then for a great length of night strange tall people came to Prophet SAW and Prophet SAW had dialogue with them. Then afterwards when they left, Prophet SAW came to His uncle RA and told that they made me tired.
This is believed to be one of the oldest mosques of Makkah.
