Al Ulaの東、Hejaz の考古学的遺跡である Hegra の中心部に位置する Jabal Ithlib は、輝かしい自然の山であり、文化的な場所でもあります。歴史的には、ネゲブ砂漠からの古代アラビア遊牧民であったナバテア人の崇拝の場所でした。

Jabal Ithlib の最大の魅力は、ダイニング エリアまたはトリクリニウムのように見える山の岩に刻まれた大きな部屋である「Diwan」です。王室の晩餐会や政治会議などの集まりのための重要な部屋であったと歴史的に信じられており、おそらく外部または一般のオブザーバーのために設計されたオープンフロントもあります.それとは別に、山の文化的ルーツと驚異的な景観は、世界中から観光客を引き付けるものです.
山には、ディワンの左側にあるシク運河の通路からアクセスできます。この運河を過ぎると、古代の宗教的慣習と関係があるかもしれない多くの彫刻や碑文がある山の中央エリアになります。山脈の中央を流れる水路もあり、自然の水溜りにつながり、最終的に貯水池につながります。これは、過去の教訓を学ぶことができるもう 1 つのサイトです。

Fantastic experience. A must see here in Al Ula during winter time. Sunset and sunrise are the best time to come here. Must wear also a thick clothes at night because it would be chilly.

You need a bit of off-road capable vehicle to reach the place. Just 0.5 km from main road.. if u prefer to walk

Very well organized tour. We paid 90 riyals for a one hour tour. The guide was qualified and gave us a brief of everything.

This trip was organized, efficient and filled with information from the Arabic & English speaking guide. I felt like I went back in time with the history and information given to us. The bus was clean and everything was perfect. I recommend this trip to anyone! It’s a must see.
