50年以上の間、戦争水上飛行機は、紅海とサウジアラビアの砂漠の間にあるラスアルハイクハメドの遠く離れた砂浜の岬に放棄されたままでした。
歴史
飛行機はもともと第二次世界大戦で使用するために建てられましたが、後に実業家が飛行機を購入し、家族と一緒に世界航海を計画しました。不測の事態により、飛行機はアラビアンビーチに着陸し、地元の人々から敵対的であると誤解され、地元の人々はそれに発砲しました。これにより飛行機は飛行に適さなくなり、放棄されました。残骸の歴史を説明する看板も敷地内に設置されています。
風景
巨大な飛行機の残骸は、通常干潮のある風の強いビーチにあります。ただし、水が飛行機に到達すると、潮が高くなることもあります。ビーチに立っていると、見物人は遠くにエジプトを見ることができます。訪問者の安全のために最近フェンスがその周りに建設されましたが、訪問者はこの1930年代のアメリカ軍の水上飛行機を詳しく見ることができます。

Outstanding location worthwhile experience the place is so beautiful and windy it was all worth the drive. It's approachable on any vehicle little off road hardly 1km but ground is firm.

Been here twice and it's an amazing place to visit. Just be careful, you might drop your cellphone and it will be broken due to strong wind (this happened to one of my colleague).
During high tide, you can find water around the plane. However, during low tide there is no water around it, it's usually dry.
