場所と歴史
サウジアラビアのメッカ市にあるマスジドハラームは、聖なるモスクまたはハラムモスクとしても知られ、世界最大のモスクであり、世界で8番目に大きな建物です。
「マスジド・ハラーム」という用語は「聖なるモスク」を意味します。イスラム教で最も重要で最も神聖な神社であるカーバ神殿を取り囲んでいることと、マスジド・ハラームがイスラム教で最も重要なモスクであり、イスラム教徒の巡礼地であることから、この名前が付けられました。毎年世界中から何百万人もの崇拝者を受け入れています。現在、モスクはサウジアラビア国王の管理下にあります。
建築
マスジドハラームは時間の経過とともに多くの改修を経てきましたが、構造の最も古い部分は16世紀にまでさかのぼります。モスクの構造は、屋根付きの礼拝エリアに囲まれた中央の長方形の中庭で構成されています。
中庭にはさらに2つの神聖な場所があります。そのうちの一つがイスラムの伝統と歴史にルーツを持つ石であるマカム・エ・イブラヒム（イブラヒムの駅）です。もう1つはザムザムのオアシスで、聖なる湧き水が含まれており、公開されてから乾燥したことはないと言われています。
中庭の北と東には、イスラム教徒の巡礼儀式の一部でもあるアルサファとアルマルワと呼ばれる2つの小さな丘があります。
モスクの総面積は約356,000平方フィートで、最大400万人を収容できます。

The Holiest place of Islam. Praying here once can you fetch you rewards of 10,000 or 100,000 prayers (as per two different narrations) the best sight. The visual of the Kaabah just melts the heart. Obligatory upon every muslim who can afford to visit once at least in lifetime. May Allah accept the efforts of all the believers...

It was a life time experience. So blessed that Allah called me in His Home. Everything was excellent except the path blockage and routing by police. The second thing is that the hospital is very bad experience. There is only one gov hospital which opens at 9 and closes at 4. Other than that best experience. Temps are always very hot
