Un restaurante de visita obligada en Al Hijrah Walk, e incluso en Madina, cuando se trata de cocina árabe / shamy, Ver.Dan Lounge está ubicado en el tercer piso de un edificio en la calle Al Abbas Ibn Ubadah, en el distrito de Al Qaswa, junto a Mercados de Tamimi. Ofrece cocina libanesa / armenia de calidad con una variada selección de platos que incluyen entrantes tipo mezze como humus, mutabbal o baba ghanouj, ensaladas (tabula, fatoush ...) y por supuesto, para los platos principales, carnes a la brasa, como shish tawook, que dio fama mundial a esta cocina árabe. Los postres no se quedan fuera ya que el restaurante ofrece tartas de frutas, tartas de queso y otros Oum Ali en su carta. Para acceder al restaurante, es necesario tomar un ascensor para acceder a la planta superior. El restaurante consta de un gran espacio interior con varias salas, una de las cuales tiene una hermosa vista del paseo Al Hijrah. La decoración, con predominio de elementos de madera, es simplemente magnífica. El único inconveniente es la música, bastante alta, que mancha la tranquilidad de la comida.

Absolutely do not come here. Unprofessional staff obviously not trained and do not know their own menu and served half the items in take-away plastic bags + the waiter on our table was definitely sick but still kept serving food! The price is not very affordable and expected looking at some of its rating, but stating the above and adding that the taste was very very mediocre, my experience here was terrible. We had the most suggested items being hummus, chicken shawarma and fruit cocktail for dine-in family sections. All very much below average but if there is one thing it is the serving size that wasn’t bad.

This the second time I dine here, the first was when it was still new. It was a bad experience coz the service was bad and bad food that time though I can’t disagree with the ambiance of the place, it is indeed a nice place but service and food are not recommendable. So I came back after few year to see if the bad experience I had will change. I was wrong, nothing has changed. The entrance is good but when you check the tables are not cleaned, though it was not that busy. We ordered only drinks and desert but it takes 30mins for them to take the order and another delay on serving and it was not even a rush hour.

Came here months ago and said their menu was impossible to read because the pages flip automatically. Came back now and they haven’t fixed it. They said the artist made it that way. Last time I left, today I was tired so stayed. Why would you spend months not fixing something that is broken? If you can’t fix your menu then I wonder what things in your kitchen isn’t working properly. Do you use cat meat in your kebabs? Maybe, no way to know that you’re competent enough to stop cats from falling in your oven.

We are a group, we passed by the lounge and the place looks great, so we decided to take a dinner there the other day (we are not from madinah), once we arrived they told us that the view on top is only for families (while we are individuals only), which is really disappointing, we sat on inside and the waiter told us “ Cash only “ ???? The whole trip was waste of time and we decided to not eat in the restaurant. They wouldn’t understand that as a visitors we don’t carry cash and this might be the first and last visit depending on our first impressions ????.
