Situado en la calle Sultanah (calle Abu Bakr Al Siddiq), cerca de la tienda Zain, en el distrito de Bir Uthman, Shrimp Anatomy es un restaurante de mariscos. Se trata de ese estilo de restaurante de comida de mar, un poco de moda en estos momentos en Arabia Saudita, donde tu comida se coloca en una bolsa de plástico y equipada con guantes y un delantal lo vuelcas sobre la mesa. Tú eliges tu marisco, tus salsas y tu plato se sirve en una bolsa de plástico. La decoración del restaurante es muy sencilla pero aún aporta un toque de originalidad con sus toscas paredes desprovistas de pintura y sus sillas de hierro, ciertamente incómodas, pero que contribuyen al ambiente industrial del lugar. En la planta baja, tiene un espacio de pocas mesas, con un rincón familiar. En el primer piso, una sala más grande tiene mesas más grandes, que pueden acomodar grupos de 5-6 personas. La comida es la que se suele encontrar en este tipo de establecimientos con camarones / bogavante y pescado acompañados de papas fritas, aros de cebolla o maíz. Los platos que se ofrecen harán las delicias de los amantes de este tipo de marisquerías.

The food was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The shrimps were cooked to perfection and were extremely tasty. This restaurant is definitely one of the best places I've dined at during my stay in Madeena, and I cannot recommend it enough. You won’t be disappointed; thank me later. Unfortunately, I can't provide a specific recommendation because my friend treated me, and he placed the order, so I have no idea what exactly was ordered (all I know is that it was really spicy - just the way I like it) or how much it cost. Poor service. They serve the order half and had to ask for remaining, that too didn’t bring rice and later cancelled from bill as undelivered!! What surprised to me is no apologies or any kind of word for not delivering ordered food.

Great menu. I ate butter and garlic shrimp, which is my best dish at shrimp anatomy. The other flavors are as good.

The food was amazing. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The shrimps were cooked to perfection and were extremely tasty, definitely one of the best places I’ve dined in during my stay in Madeena and I cannot recommend it enough. You won’t be disappointed, thank me later.. I would throw in the recommendation but my friend treated me and he had made the order so no idea what he exactly ordered (all I know it was really chilly - just the way I like it) and how much it costs.
