Today we went to a quirky, chic, modern Indian restaurant, where one can enjoy a sensory experience through the finest modern Indian cuisine, with a high energy ambiance. Infusing a generous dose of Indian flavours, rafthaar presents Indian cuisine where culinary art meets the alchemy of modern presentations.
Interiors of the restaurant is superb as the saying goes Best Interiors doesn't have to be expensive or complicated! It should be simple & elegant.
These three chutneies are given as complimentary with papad . I liked green chutney and orange colour chutney. Yellow colour chutney was sweet and my son liked it soo much.
Rose Mojito and lavender mojito was ok .i did not like it so much .as it was on a sour side. Here comes our starter. Look at the presentation. Its beautiful. We had ordered murg malai tikka, dilli samosa chaat and tandoori chicken.
In this chaat everything is so well balanced. It has cheese samosa, served with spiced chickpeas, creamy yogurt and tamarind sauce.
And no chaat is complete without generous serving of sev.
This tandoor cooked murg malai tikka had nice creamy cheese marination. Loook at all these perfectly charred chicken. Not overwhelmingly sharp or spicy, these kababs are mild and creamy with a rich taste.
This is an incredibly tender, juicy,
moist and outrageously
delicious Tandoori chicken i have had. U can ask them to make it even more spicy if you like.
Awadhi Biryani is subtly spiced and so it has delicate flavors. Delicately spiced chicken and grains of rice with mellow floral notes of saffron and hints of mint and cilantro , makes it beautifully fragrant and so very exquisite.i am in love with this biryani. This biryani alone cost 95 riyal but worth it. Insted of butter naan i ordered malai naan but then when i asked them to change it ,they readily agreed to it .butter naan always with chicken tikka masala, its a match made in haven.
Now for the best part desserts. This dessert is heavenly .this innovative dessert is a site to admire. The Boondi semifreddo is creamy and delicious served with warm gajar halwa and crispy pistachio vermicelli .
Our next dessert is chocolate and raspberry pave with badham kulfi and oreo crumb. Look at the artistic presentation of the food.its so appealing to the eye. This fine dining indian restaurant truly a restaurant that serves indian cuisine with morden presentation. Unlike other so called fine dining RESTAURANT which charges rocket high prices but serves low quality food. Rafthaar restaurant though costly but serves food of top quality . Every money you spend here is worth the food they are serving you.
In rafthaar khobar restaurant, I
enjoyed some of the best Indian
food I've ever had. I had a nice time here with my family. Another thing I
forgot to mention is the employees.
They are professional, courteous,
and excellent. To all the people , do try this restaurant if you are craving for a typical spicy indian food.
