Highly recommend staying at Waad Al Ula for several nights to experience Al Ula, UNESCO site .
Best shower in Saudi Arabia.
Spotless, clean, inviting cosy rooms, windows open for fresh air.
After a day in the dessert walking, exploring the most important thing for me is a nice shower. The owner understands this for guests and travelller.
The rooms, the hall way, curtains, carpets, and bathroom are immaculately spotless, clean as are the public spaces and the grounds.
Many hotels are made with gentleman in mind not the ladies. Waad Al Ula has thought of the ladies with a vanity, seating to blow dry, flat iron or put make up on in the room with a plus near by.
The colours are great contrasting the dark reds, browns of the rocks and sand.
Entering the room you already feel cooler, its inviting.
The amenities are of good quality, as are the towels and sheets.
The room has a fridge, microwave, kettle, water, coffee, tea which is great after a long day if you want to relax in the room after a day in the sun. It feels like coming into a home.
Waad Al Ula, puts a lot of care with plants, herbs around the property. The art work is done by Saudi Arabian artist who has recreated the rock art in the area. Great way of promoting artists.
Great professional company with friendly team who care about guest experiences and well being.
The lobby is inviting and a great place to meet up at the end of the days. Public spaces are wonderful and can be used to give a presentations, workshops about the UNESCO sites, before exploring Al ULA. Wonderful variety of rooms
