Quiet location, but a large shopping area with a large supermarket, stores and restaurants within walking distance. Very friendly and attentive staff, especially the manager from Bulgaria. We had a great, very large apartment with two bedrooms (each with its own bathroom) and an additional toilet and a kitchen. Beautifully furnished, modern and clean. The hotel has a lovely pool in the courtyard, although women can only use it to a limited extent and in appropriate clothing (burkini). The breakfast was very good and the service here was also attensive and nice. The Hotel is highly recommended!

We booked three rooms, as we were a large family. We chose this hotel to stay in for a 5 day holiday in Jeddah after our Umrah pilgrimage. Well 3 days into stay, I can say the hotel is just ok, rooms are of large size with cooking /kitchen facilities. However in my opinion the rooms could do with cleaning properly. The bathroom sink doesn’t have cold water nor does the kitchen tap, despite repeated request to get it fixed, resolved 3 days later. The shower drain is poor, you are very quickly stood in a pool of water. I run tissue paper on the bathroom floor and very quickly it became soiled/black in colour, suggesting that the floors are not clean as they appear. Further look into cleanliness and I discovered dust and glass areas needed cleaning/polishing. The room had a damp musty odour and my other family members noted this too in their rooms. Having spoken to a few other guests they too had noted the bad odour. The swimming pool area is ok, it just looks good, close inspection reveals broken tiles in a few areas and floor finishing poor, a child can very easily hurt themselves on these broken tiles etc. cafeteria is just ok, nothing to write home about and limited breakfast menus. A small glass of Mocha is 29 riyals!! And it wasn’t all that, dearer than Starbucks at Jeddah airport by 15 Riyals and Starbucks Mocha takes some beating. The outside appears ok, look close and you will find the area is suppose to be upper class, but it’s unkempt and dirty. The area to front of hotel is not well maintained, just glossy signs and lights that make it appear it is a grand place. Far from the real truth. The street directly outside suggests some wealthy local Arabs live here, but the street has litter and dirty places. The bed was comfortable, great pillows and a fridge with drinks/ chocolate was provided - with super expensive prices. A snickers bar is 6 Riyals! Room service phone not working, and room cleaners come when they feel like it, but are great lads. Local amenities a short walk away and food reasonable. Some good night life in walking distance For the price one pays, this place needs to RAISE its game as next time we will be looking at hotels elsewhere. This place doesn’t live up to the image they portray or the prices they charge. Come on - can’t even fix taps for 3 days???? After repeated requests. Finally the porters and foreign staff are great and very polite friendly people. The management like to relay orders in front of guests, I noted and witnessed the fear on the face of one of the Asian workers when he was being told off - unacceptable and not very professional. This appears to be a trait in Saudi hotels and some of the Saudi staff/managers seem to think they are above others, and generally the lack of respect towards foreign staff!!!! Finally the European in appearance manager was a great guy, Dawood. Ali the night manager- great guy, and Aisha the lady manager at the reception, who had nice tattoos on her hand too!! She spoke English and was very polite, with a lovely smile.

Dear Everyone! After traveling across the globe for a couple of years we have decided to visit the wonderful city of Jeddah. When it came to the hotel selection a thorough search was conducted and we selected this wonderful hotel, the Andalus Habitat Hotel. It should be said that the tidiness, professionalism and highend services of the hotel is something which we truly recommend. The manager has helped us with his recommendations what to do and where to go to; this was utterly useful. To conclude if you are looking for the best price quality ratio you should definitely book in Andalus Habitat Hotel! Best regards, Cristian and Tom. :)

Good facilities but bad management. extremely loud construction/drilling noise in the afternoon that makes it impossible to even think while you are in the room. The noise continues the whole day into the night and past midnight. I have to complain to the reception 5 times about the noise that harasses my elderly parents. At 12.30am they say let us work and "when do you want us to work?" If the management has noisy construction planned they should not have guests stay in rooms that are affected by noise. They want to earn their money while not giving guests their right of a peaceful room. This is wrong. I had such a nice stay before but this horrible experience has ruined my image of this hotel.

The hotel is situated in one of the great localities. The rooms are reasonably sized, and all the basic requirements were there. But the main issue is the earthing. Every appliance gives you a shock on touching them barefooted. With small kids, that is one of the main issues. Other than that, the staff is very professional, and they respond in no time. The breakfast is fair too with many options. The pool is good size.
