This hotel does not deserve the distinction of the Intercontinental brand. It is old and worn out. Staff is providing nothing but absolutely the most basic services customer orientation is not in their vocabulary.
The majority of staff did either not wear masks at all or just over their chin.
Despite repeated requests they did not out the masks proper. Guest in the lobby and restaurants were not asked to wear masks.
When i ask the staff to enforce the mask laws, the government introduced a $266 fine, management asked me to take dinner in the room rather than joining the public areas. And the food was mediocre at best, both the restaurant and the in-room dining.
I found it surprising that in a hotel used by guests from around the world to visit Madinah Mosque, that i was repeatedly snubbed at for not speaking arabic.
