I had a pleasant stay at Novotel Suites Olaya in Riyadh, thanks to the excellent reception service that greeted me from the moment I arrived to the smooth check-out process. The housekeeping team was also prompt in attending to any requests during my stay. However, on my last day (Nov 1), I encountered a concerning issue during breakfast, where the noodles seemed stale and had an off-putting smell. I had to bring this to the attention of the F&B staff and requested to assess the food. The F&B team, particularly the Indian staff member, promptly removed the item from the breakfast selection, which was the right action to take. Nonetheless, it is crucial that the F&B department consistently ensures the quality of the food they serve to prevent any potential issues, like food poisoning, from occurring. Overall, while the hotel excelled in some aspects, improvements in the F&B department are needed to make the stay truly outstanding.
