I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Holiday Inn Meydan Riyadh, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant.
The most significant issue I faced during my stay was the ongoing construction work near the property. To my dismay, I had not been informed about this beforehand, which resulted in a sleepless night. The drilling and construction noises began as early as 6 am, preventing me from getting the rest I desperately needed. It's disappointing that the hotel failed to communicate this disruption to its guests, as it significantly impacted the quality of my stay.
When I tried to address my grievances with the Manager, Mr. Mahdi Ali, his response was shockingly rude and uncaring. His dismissive attitude left me feeling unheard and disrespected. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer service, especially from a property under the IHG brand.
One of the hallmarks of the IHG brand is its commitment to providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards. Regrettably, my experience at the Holiday Inn Meydan Riyadh fell short of these expectations. The lack of transparency about the construction and the unprofessional behavior of the Manager have left a lasting negative impression on my stay.
I sincerely hope that the management of the Holiday Inn Meydan Riyadh takes steps to rectify these issues and ensures that guests are well-informed about any disruptions that may impact their stay. IHG properties are known for their hospitality and customer-centric approach, and it's my hope that this incident was an isolated one that doesn't reflect the overall standard of the brand.
