Arrived early, understanding I may need to wait to get to my room. However, upon arrival, my party was able to check in early successfully. Once my turn, I inquired about an upgrade and was informed there was one available but I would need to wait for a room. Funny thing is, after sitting for 2 hours for my upgraded room, I was placed in standard room, not upgraded. When inquiring as to why I needed to wait just to be placed in a standard room, no response was given. Additionally, upon entering my room, I discovered my wait was in vain, as my room had not been cleaned (dirt and hair in the shower, stains, rips, and misc things on the carpet, dust and misc wrappers by the TV, etc) and much to my surprise, when I picked the phone up to call to the front desk, it didn't work!
I did eventually get offered an alternative room, which was filled with a smokey smell, to which I declined.
