This is the worst hotel that I have ever been to. I've stayed in hotels and resorts all over the world and this takes the rank of the being the worst! There was no A/C in the hotel itself. The hallways were very hot, the lights were flickering or not working and was very dirty.
I didn't even get to my room yet at this point. When I walked in the room, you need to leave your key card in the slot to power on your room, so when I walked in my room, it was scorching hot. I went downstairs to get a second key card so I can leave the power in my room always on. It took a while for the A/C to cool down the room.
Going into the bathroom, the toilet was nasty. The water was dirty and the toilet was beyond stained. I flushed the toilet and saw the water that was being refilled was dirty! I already had a long day and just wanted to take a shower. Remember when i said the water in the toilet was dirty? I turned on the shower and dirty water was coming out! I had to leave the shower on for 10 minutes to finally cycle in clean water.
The pool closes at 6, just a heads up. Not all the pools and slides are open either. My nephews and niece couldn't experience all the activities. When I re-grouped with my brothers, they had the same experience with their bathroom, water, etc.
I highly advise for you to go somewhere else and do not stay at Grand East! The worst experience that I have had!
