The ambiance has changed considerably to a more modern upbeat tone while the classic elegance of the past is no longer a part of the experience. Older patrons might be annoyed by the music but it’s wasn’t too loud . The food was good with the duck taking center stage , fragrant rice as well as excellent beef and shrimp as well . I had a few unexpected surprises, wasabi prawns doesn’t look appetizing but it’s really delicious. The noodles was too spicy and undercooked.
The service was good except there were a few clumsy spills and falling trays but it’s dark so fortunately you only hear the crash not see it .
The desert - chocolate based were good , French toast was an unnecessary afterthought .
