Doesnt matter you have all accor platinum membership or you are normal guest
They treat you like other normal guest
I spend thousands of thousands riyal every year
In the previous 8 years and i get that treatment?!
Extremely disappointed
Front staff very professional in terms of making excuses such as not available room for upgrade etc...
I checked that time there plenty of rooms available
I will never come back even if they rolled a red carpet from airport to hotel

I booked the room in raffles through booking and due to illness we couldnt make it and we couldnt cancel the booking on time, so we asked booking to try to get an exception to cancel the penalty amount but raffles rejected. They really dont care about anything but money. I had the same issue last year with a hotel in london and they where very supportive and they are a 5star hotel and the amount was way more then this, but the one in saudi they dont care. i am really disappointed from them. I dont recommend them.

Poor customer service experience. Issues with cleanliness. Staff and one whole night to clean my room before check in yet I arrived to a swamp. The smell is quite strong and it’s not nice at all.
The service is horrible. They cannot take one simple instructions. With the exception of a few good staff, the rest are so and so.
We raised a complaint to the manager on duty. She tried to compensate by offering an upgrade. We accepted and we should to have. It took them way too long (more than 2.6 hours) to get the rooms ready. The service is slow and inconsistent.
For your mental safety and positive spiritual experience in Mecca stay away from Raffles. There is the impression of a five star experience but it’s simply a disguise.
Disappointed and won’t recommend it to anyone.

Worst hotel experience ever!
5 star pricing for 1 star service and hygiene!
There managing staff were not hospitable at all. Our ac was not working for a whole night and the next day which as a result we missed two prayers. and they only offered to change the rooms when we were infuriated and demanded to. We spoke to The customer relations manager (sara) and she was absolutely unprofessional bringing up personal issues and problems and did not even offer any sort of real compensation for our horrible experience and even the new room was extremely dirty with missing furniture.

Worst price to quality ratio I have ever seen. Although the hotel is good compared to other hotels nearby, but the extra price you pay is not worth it.
Pros:
Close to the Masjid
Rooms are bigger.
Cons:
Getting to the hotel is like playing a maze. If you are lucky to find the entrance from the parking lot you will have to take an elevator to find the reception.
Very expensive compared to what they offer.
Although the room is reserved for 3 people and 3 people checked in, they only allowed 2 for breakfast and sohour.
Check-in experience is terrible. Besides the fact that I had to wait a while with my elders, they double charged me and I had to argue with them for a while and showed them the receipt from Booking.com. Even though, they had to call a supervisor in order to fix this problem which also took time.
They did not give us keys to the room because they had a technical problem. They also did not offer to send the keys to our room. What a service from a hotel that charges you 4 times than normal and are not willing to send someone with a key to fix their mistakes!
