OYO 589 Lavina House

We booked this place due to the proximity to the Jeddah corniche circuit during the Grand Prix weekend and the cheap price. We booked a two bedroom apartment and it did the job as the apartment was spacious with decent beds so as we didn't spend time at the apartment except to go to sleep, we didn't really have any complaints despite the very dated decor and furniture and lack of amenities like electric kettle and towels. Location wise it's near coffee places and takeaway/restaurants within walking distance. For the price we got for three nights on the Grand prix weekend with comfortable beds, we were more than willing to overlook the deficiencies that you would have expected from a hotel. I have given it four stars largely on basis of price on a GP weekend. If you want up to date facilities, look elsewhere.

Booked on Expedia but my reservation wasn’t honored stating that it is not on the system. It didn’t look like a hotel and the place was dirty and the staff were not professional. Visitors better to avoid.

Everything was stinky, furniture was stinking, kitchen was smelly, living room ac was not working, no gas as it was not cooling, other ac in room ac was not controlled by remote, you have to start or stop thru plug if fells cold or hot, thermostat was not working, electric kettle was countinoisly stinky and releasing rust after washing it for so many times. So we decided not to warm the water. No towels were given. Only small soap given.. hence everything was bad, we will never stay at this hotel and will never recommend it to any body. Pathetic service.

Good location but rooms are not as per standards, rooms walls paints were worn out. Dirty sofa broken floor tiles Rooms is not smelling good,seems like it not clean
