Lafontaine Hotel Jeddah

The hotel location was good as it’s in the middle between the south side and the north side of the city. It’s an old hotel and not ready to host loud events or weddings since rooms got 0 noise cancellation. however they do host such events. I experienced this myself as I had to change my room twice and nothing was different even when I changed the floor it kept getting more uncomfortable as People are dancing, singing and I couldn’t sleep. The rooms aren’t the same “decoration wise” as the first room was better than the second one not to mention that the second one got a bad cigarettes smell. The breakfast was very basic. Nothing was special, so It doesn’t worth paying for it. I would rather recommend exploring the city and look for other places for breakfast. After all the hotel manger was amazing and treated me with respect, he even offered me a refund on my booking but it was too late to look for another hotel somewhere else so I stayed that night.

Just checked into this hotel and had to deposit SAR 100 for parking?! 🤔 This is a first for me after staying in countless hotels. Seems like a strange policy to me.

Building is ok not bas but parking is very congested and too much smell in parking. Room was ok. Service boy was also good. But breakfast not good at all. Very low quality and variety.

Great location with limited facilities and services. Don't waste your money for the breakfast as is not as what you're expecting. Cleaning wise . As an old hotel. Need to be careful if you are going with kids. Great they have their own parking but smal cars are good fit, not bigger cars like GMC , ect. Friendly staff and fast responses.
