It is more like motel .without any ventilation in all 3 sides covered with buildings . As such very limited services being offered being ibis and whatever offered is not satisfactory. Breakfast is very limited .food options still more limited for vegetarian. Whatever vegetarian options offered are made as much tasteless as possible. Not worth what we pay except for hotel location

The water got cold when showering and I waited but there was no more hot water!!
There was smoke smell in the room and toilette even though I had a non-smoking room.
There was no breakfast during Ramadan.

Good points -
1. Good location. Walking distance to Kingdom Centre/mall.
2. Good breakfast selection
3. Comfortable pillow/bed
4. Clean.
Bad points -
1. On check in, no instructions were given for breakfast time/location and WiFi connection.
2. Room phone just for show. Tried to call reception to ask for WiFi login instructions. No dial tone at all. Had to go down to reception to ask in person.
3. Room aircon temp fluctuating. Does not keep to thermostat temp that you set. Totally failed to ON on 3rd day. Ask to repair and got working again. But fluctuations.
4. Construction site right beside hotel. Noisy. On Saturday night the hacking continued until 4am! Was awoken every hour.

I spent three nights in this hotel and I have to admit that the price/value at this location is not convincing. First staff at reception/car park are not very responsive nor friendly, second the room was smelly and the safe was not working (twice a alarm went off because it was broken; after I informed the reception I was told the "Smile Team" will take care within 15 minutes... but nothing happened), the room is rather old and damaged at some parts (extra lock at the door, bathroom door bottom, floor), it's rather loud because isolation is not good/door close with some loud sound. The only good thing was the location and friendly housekeeper!
