Very clean and nice hotel.... The pool has amazing views. I visited the swing area. The resturant food is amazing, and their breakfast was so delicious. If you want to take good pictures at the pool make sure you get ther early morning like 7:30 to 8am. Pool area is always empty at those times.

Very nice hotel in the middle of Ashar valley among the amazing terracotta rocks. The staff is slow at times, you need to ask for 2-3 times until you get what you want. Room cleaning is very good. Food is something they need to work on. Menu is quite limited (in all the place) too much deef fried food and very little fish and vegetarian options. At the food trucks the staff is running around like the house is on fire and forgetting everything. The food choice is quite limited as well. Milkshakes really need to be worked on. The furniture at the reception and especially the sunbeds by the pool really need to be restored, as every time you sit on them you can feel your body crushing into the wooden frame. The hotel has a very nice choice of activities. I cannot say they are somewhat great, but thats a nice touch. I can point out some employees that actually made my day every time i came across them - it Ismail at the reception, a very professional waitress Laura at the pool area and super sweet lady at the welcoming coffee stand (this one specifically) who always smiles and offers you drinks or nibbles every time.

Positives: - the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. - ⁠they have interesting activities in their daily program. Also the swing and the trampoline are great fun. - ⁠the rooms are quite nice. - ⁠buggy drivers and housekeeping staff are nice and helpful. - ⁠the gym/spa/yoga studio looked nice! Negatives: - some of the staff (reception-restaurant) give off weird vibes. Nothing bad happened particularly, but we didn't feel genuinely welcomed. Also the service at the restaurant is very slow. One time we were the only table at the restaurant and it took them around 15 minutes to bring us the menu, and the same time to bring us the bill! - ⁠the welcome ceremony is a nice touch but it lacked originality and connection to the Saudi culture. It seemed copied from other places who believe in stuff like getting rid of negative energy by lighting up some herbs. It has nothing to do with Saudi beliefs and it just came off very cringy. - ⁠lack of food options is a big problem at the resort. There is no room service which is a huge negative. When I am at a resort like that, big part of having a good time is to have access to all kinds of food and drinks. Even the one restaurant at the resort has a very limited menu. - ⁠no TV in the room.. even upon request. I understand when resorts like this don't have TVs in the room. But they should be available upon request like most resorts do. Many people will like to watch a movie or something at night when there is not much to do at the resort. - value for money. Especially in terms of service, you'd expect a top service when you stay at such an expensive resort, but you don't get it here. They rejected our simple request of getting 2 bikes. They rejected to give us a 1-hour late check out. Even the smallest things like putting some chocolate or fruits upon check in or turndown service are not there.

The hotel is wonderful. Amazing location, service. The view from the pool is breathtaking and the daily activities are really worthy. The trampolines are a must go. Also, highlights to our friend Mohsin from the pool: extremely nice, kind, polite and helpful - always bringing us towels and even robe when we were cold! Unfortunately the experience wasn’t perfect because on the very last day (2 Dec) we were taking pictures from us at the pool and a rude security guard came being impolite and telling us to stop taking pictures of other guests - when clearly I was standing in front of my camera taking pictures of me (I would never take pictures of others). At least Mohsin was around and came to talk to us to apologize on behalf of the other person. In any case, the behavior of this security guard towards a guest is not acceptable!

Everything is perfect.. staff is great .. the view is unbelievable .. rooms are awesome.. so much fun .. Why 4 starts ??? Restaurant is just not up to the standard of the whole experience...
