I recently ordered the garlic chicken kebab at Marriott, and unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. The kebab arrived fully blackened, indicating immature cooking and an overpowering charcoal taste leaving a sour taste in my mouth. This level of quality is unexpected from a star hotel like Marriott. To make matters worse, the chef insisted that the dish was prepared correctly, In Riyadh, there are plenty of places where you can find excellent meat, but unfortunately, this experience at Marriott fell far short of expectations.

the location is good....BUT.... I am giving the low rating for two reasons:
1. I stayed in a room with one wall with a big mirror on the other side of the window which has the building decoration light in front of it which annoyed me since the curtains don't close tightly.
2. I asked them to switch my room to another one without the wall-mirror or without the lights outside of the window but they didn't help.
3. I tried a croissant with chocolate during breakfast and it wasn't fresh, it was like at least five days old since it was very hard and crunchy which means they don't check the food.
4. I saw a chef through remaining excessive oil from the omelets frying pan into the deep fryer.

We ate last night but we are not happy because we went there for seafood night but our cravings for the shrimp is not enough ? they only serve 3pcs of shrimp per head and we paid for buffet ?

I am disappointed because of the quality and taste of the food, especially Umm Ali was the worst I ever eat. This was not my opinion only, but three of my friends had Iftar today. Never coming back.

Very bad staff in this Hotel, i’m a Bonvoy Titanium Elite member, i did a contract with the hotel for a fixed price per night.. i visited the hotel many times afterward with the same rate as per my contract..
I was surprised that the hotel sales person/ manager, changed the rate and the rate was tripled because of Riyadh season and the high occupancy !!!! although i have my contract with me!! It never happened with me at any Bonvoy hotel!!! I’ve been in Bonvoy hotels for more than 4 years all over Saudia kingdom…
In addition some of the hotel staff are not friendly, the room service thru the receptionist is very bad!! I ordered many time a dine in my room and found out after one hour that the operator did not place the order and did not contact the room service in the first place!!! Bad treatment … unfortunately bad memories in this hotel..
