Absolutely horrendous and detestable experience. The room charges are unreasonably high for the cramped space we were given. Multiple bed mattresses were hard and unpleasant to sleep on. The condition of the toiletware was abhorrent with floor seal corroding.
To acquire hot water, the water heater must be turned on for a while before any hot water is accessible - for which the switch is inconveniently located right underneath the light switch so if one were to accidentally turn off the heater instead of the light, they can either forget about their prayer or having a warm shower.
An appalling lack of power outlets. The provided power outlets cannot even power the existing appliances in the room. To work the kettle, fridge and TV power must be removed and even then the kettle isn't in the proximity of the power outlet. The only other power outlet is hanging from the wall, raising concerns about electrical safety.
The hotel is located 3 whole streets away from the backside of the haram. If one wants to go to the rawda or see the green dome, they have to walk all the way to the other side.
The lift system is very disorganised and unsystematic with very long waiting periods, prolonging the journey to haram and making us late for our prayers.
