阿拉法特山是位于沙特阿拉伯麦加东南约20公里处的一座小山。它在阿拉伯语中也被称为 Jabal Arafat 或 Jabalar-Rahmah，意为“仁慈之山”。
历史风俗
从历史上看，阿拉法特山对穆斯林来说很重要，因为这座山是先知 (PBUH) 发表他的最后布道 Khutba e HajjadtulWIda 时站的地方，也是亚当和哈瓦离开天堂后再次在地球上相遇的地方。
在一年一度的朝圣仪式中，阿拉法特山对伊斯兰教也很重要。在 Dhu al-Hijjah 月的第 9 天，朝圣者离开米纳前往阿拉法特山。因此，这一天被称为阿拉法特日，也是朝觐最重要的一天。
山周围的地面被称为阿拉法特平原。这是阿拉法特纪念日下午度过的地方。该仪式是朝觐不可或缺的一部分，因为如果没有这一部分，朝觐将被视为无效。
结构
阿拉法特山高约 230 英尺。山上的岩石是花岗闪长岩，是一种类似花岗岩的火成岩，主要由长石、石英、白云母等矿物组成。

The hill is the place where the Prophet Muhammad stood and delivered the Farewell Sermon, also known as the Khutbat al-Wada', to his Companions (Sahabah) who had accompanied him for the Hajj towards the end of his life.
