历史
Miqat Mosque Complex 由建筑师 Abdel-Wahed El-Wakil 设计。它建于 80 至 90 AH 之间，当时奥马尔·本·阿卜杜勒·阿齐兹 (Umar bin Abdul Aziz) 担任麦地那总督。初建后，清真寺经过多次翻修。最近的翻修发生在法赫德国王时期，他扩大了该地区，以便为清真寺配备必要的设施。
结构
清真寺呈方形，占地6000平方米。清真寺内有两组画廊，相隔一个院子。这些画廊的形状像拱门，末端是长圆顶。清真寺的尖塔底部为方形，顶部为圆形，区别于该地区的其他清真寺。清真寺旁边有一个绿树成荫的中央花园。朝圣者有一个单独的区域，他们可以在那里沐浴并改变成戒律。清真寺位于高速公路上，方便朝圣者到达。

It was clean, well maintained market with few shops, heard that old shops outside are closed only some ppl are selling on cars n trucks. Washrooms were clean and good.

Very beautiful place with historical backgrounds. The Masjid is built with a totally different architecture with greenish central garden and enormous number of wide pillars. The minaret also looking special.

It has a very vast area for Vehicle parking.
Lot of wash rooms but kept closed occasionally.

Clean and dry changing area and washrooms. Maybe because it is off season. Ample parking space available. Some shops are there to buy ihram and related accessories.

I was there on Nov 1 - my friend and I were the only two people due to Corona related restrictions. Thus the entire facility was for us as it seemed. Felt very fortunate and thankful to the authority for maintaining all facilities yet for a small crowd.
The place was so tranquil and peaceful!
