历史
Miqat Mosque Complex 由建筑师 Abdel-Wahed El-Wakil 设计。它建于 80 至 90 AH 之间，当时奥马尔·本·阿卜杜勒·阿齐兹 (Umar bin Abdul Aziz) 担任麦地那总督。初建后，清真寺经过多次翻修。最近的翻修发生在法赫德国王时期，他扩大了该地区，以便为清真寺配备必要的设施。
结构
清真寺呈方形，占地6000平方米。清真寺内有两组画廊，相隔一个院子。这些画廊的形状像拱门，末端是长圆顶。清真寺的尖塔底部为方形，顶部为圆形，区别于该地区的其他清真寺。清真寺旁边有一个绿树成荫的中央花园。朝圣者有一个单独的区域，他们可以在那里沐浴并改变成戒律。清真寺位于高速公路上，方便朝圣者到达。

Some emotional connection I have with this mosque. From this place one comes into Ehram if travelling to Makkah with the intention of making Hajj or Umrah. Beautiful place, lots of people.
1. Pls take bath when coming and don't plan to take bath here as it's obviously crowded
2. Take a note of the bus number if travelling in a group.
3. Don't plan of buying something here for your needs as it's not available.

It is the most impressive mosque with all services to make commitment ( niyat and wear the ehraam) to perform Umrah. Baths are very clean with all services , hot and cold water to make ablutions or wadoo, change cloths , hanger to change cloths , etc. I found this miqaat Mosque one of the top in all service .
