The hotel is good for the reception service, but the service room needs attention. There is a receptionist named Hadeel who is fluent in English compared to those there. The task has made it easier for us as I am a non-Arabic speaking person.

My experience at the hotel was not so good. It’s a 5 star hotel with no-star service. No body ever picks the phone be it baggage, room service, reception or the assistant manager. I ordered food from the hotel restaurant (not that the taste is good but because other available options are a bit far) approximately 2 hours before suhoor and they never had it delivered despite I having the order confirmation number. Cleanliness is also a bit on the downside. The bathrooms doors creeks and the door locks are broken.

The service in this hotel is horrible. Reception does not answer the phone after many attempts. No coordination or communication between the staff members which causes confusion and a repeat of several conversations with different people. The cleaners don't clean the room properly or change the sheets even upon request. A cleaner was playing a video out loud while I slept and got upset when I asked him to lower the volume. It's a shame because the room was comfortable otherwise and this hotel has potential.

A self claimed 5 star hotel with nothing more than a 2-star services. Your trouble begins with check-in. No one understands English or any other language other than Arabic. Tiny rooms. Poor cleanliness. No communication from hotel management. Housekeeping take ages to service. Scam on Shuttle Service: If you’ve ever stayed in a good hotel property with shuttle service, you would expect a dedicated shuttle/transportation service for guests/passengers. With M Hotel, you will be given a public transport bus service outsourced by M hotel, no one will communicate timings, availability of service or anything. It’s a generic green public transport bus, with no markings about the hotel, and anyone can join you from other hotels as well. A mere A4 size paper printed with M Hotel logo is placed near to driver. Bus service is workable from Hotel to Haram, but it’s impossible to get back to hotel. Since the shuttle buses are public buses, and you will be needing a day to find the bus. IMPORTANT: The shuttle bus service doesn’t work on Friday’s after 9AM. The hotel management will not communicate or post any notice about it. You will be on your own to find out if bus is coming or not. Remember, the language barrier? They don’t even understand basic English words.

Good breakfast, comfy beds and decent shuttle service but no housekeeping during any of the nights I stayed. Had to wait 1-2hrs each night for reception to send up towels. Very strange. Would avoid unless you’re happy waiting a few hours each night to shower.
