I was here for about a month on business. Check-in was fast, stay was pleasant, bed was superb and staffs were courteous especially the F&B Manager Mr. Waleed, the chef Naved, restaurant supervisor Soleiman, etc. The gym is good but the pool is tiny (anyway too cold to swim) and not heated for winter (6 degree C).
Drawbacks are:
1. Room rate is too expensive for the level of service and location. It is very near the airport but otherwise location is inconvenient. I had to walk 10 minutes to the nearest petrol station to buy basic groceries or take Careem to a shopping mall.
2. I had to change room from the first day as the toilet was flooded when I bathe. A good hotel will always check that the room is in tip-top condition for a tired guest, more so for the price they are charging.
3. The air-con heater is not working despite getting a maintenance staff to adjust the control. The temperature refuses to go up and I had to shut the air-con off as the wind make it even colder. 4. Breakfast spread is limited and is always almost the same, with no change since day 1. I have shared this with the staffs.
5. The reception could not help me to change a 500SAR bill to smaller bills. I was told they do not provide this service.
