Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Al Khobar

Must say that this hotel has received a lot of negative reviews. I don't know the reason why.. the type of stay they provide is exceptional and the rooms are huge. I stayed in the two bedroom suite. Yes, the hotel is very old and may go on for renovation soon. There are places where the wallpaper has been stripped (intentionally by the guests). One big drawback was the water pressure in the shower. Reviewers pls note , giving one star, only makes others not to consider such places. I gambled with the reviews and thankfully found this place homely and exceptional for business traveller. Reviews should be given with consideration of what you pay. Last but not the least its a subsidiary of Ramada and you can expect good services

Very nice and luxury place to stay with family, most of the restaurants and shopping centres are near however the appearance needs a renovation and I suggest to include breakfast for all deals to encourage future guests.

Its an excellent hotel, exceptional services and care , few min walk to masjid nabwi , its in front food kiosk and back side with main road.

Its old but spacious. The on duty manager Rakan was really pleasant, helped us changing the rooms and was very honest and supportive.

I booked the Executive Suite for my family of 5… and we were all quite taken aback when we entered our suite… it was HUGE!! The lower floor has a kitchenette with tea maker, microwave and fridge, and the living/dining area is extremely spacious. There is also a maid’s room with iron/board and a full bathroom downstairs. And upstairs there are two huge bedrooms with king beds and attached baths. The air-conditioning is efficient, the beds are comfortable and we had a very pleasant stay. They provided us with extra towels immediately. The whole apartment was very clean. The place is just across the road from the corniche and many eating options, so if you want to spend some time at the corniche, it is strongly advisable to just leave your car at the hotel, and walk down there! There are not many channels on TV though (and NO English channels)… they should try and improve in this aspect. Breakfast was rather basic and just passable… this could be improved as well… although the staff in the restaurant were very courteous. This place is a steal for the price, and is highly recommended!
