Beautifully preserved Najdi architecture that gives you a glimpse of historical era of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A place where the History of At-Turaif blends with Riyadh's modern Lifestyle, from walking through the streets of the village streets and experiencing the traditional music and singing called Ardha, to the lighting show and fine dine restaurants and so much more, the vibe of this place was immaculate.
It was truly an amazing experience to visit this place and would highly recommend visiting in cooler evenings of November and December, when the weather is pleasent and the lights create a perfect setting.
A couple of other things to note:
- Since there's a bit of walking involved, wearing comfortable shoes and carrying water bottles would be highly recommended
- Tickets can be bought online (SAR 50 per person)
- Parking is SAR 30 for the first 3 hours, after that SAR 10 for every hour
- Make sure to book reservation at Al-Bujairi restaurants well in advance to avoid waiting
- You can show the tickets/QR code at the restaurants and get a discount of the same amount, so if you bought two tickets for SAR 50 each, you can avail the discounts at restaurants worth SAR 100
