The school has amazing way to teach kids..... If you send your kid In any grade your child doesn't have to go to school the next year...... By the way I am talking about the girl section.. The boy section has horrible teachers... The only hard thing they have is the entrance exam... Girls section is amazing... BRITISH CURRICULUM... ???

A famous high-school basketball player once said, "Winning is everything; the victor is acknowledged and the loser is disavowed". After studying for 12 years in Al Waha, I can say with certainty that that particular saying has been chiselled into my brain. From an academic point of view, the school is somewhat appropriate, although students in higher grades frequently experience a massive dip in their performance due to poor coaching. As for extra-curricular activities, the school does make an effort to make available some basic ECAs, but a solid system of after-school or long-term activities is not available at all. However, the biggest problem the school faces is a lack of inspiration. Students are passively encouraged to do their best, meaning the outstanding pupils are extolled while the mediocre ones are shunned comeplety. There is no concept of student safety, and a blind eye is often turned towards towards those facing social problems like bullying. The administration is highly unyielding when it comes to suggestions, which is quite sad considering the fact that the students are the fee-payers. It really seems more like a factory churning out humans with a degree and a few soft and hard skills mixed in. Any person who graduates with highly superior technological acumen or something of the sort wil have developed that completely on his own, with no encouragement or support from the school whatsoever. Perhaps a former teacher put it best when he said that Al-Waha is the "best of the worst schools". However, I really believe that with a little more openness to student suggestions and higher emphasis on personality development the school could go a long way.

Studied three years in this school and I must say, enjoyed every bit of it. The teachers are nice and helpful, though a little bit of favoritism is always noticeable. The students in general are amazing. I remember how welcomed I felt on my first day and how the whole class always acted like a family. However, this campus does need a new infrastructure. The play area, in particular, needs refurbishment. AAAND the school should definitely work to make a proper sports committee as well!
